I bought a couple of stuff that I had been wanting to try for a very long time. Everyone has been talking about the Charlotte Tillbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow and I recently hit pan on my beloved Bobbi Brown bronzer so I thought it was a good opportunity to try it. I wore it a couple of times already and really like it. The bronzer is nice and cooled tone which makes it more natural and the highlighter is gorgeous, it has that champagne color which I love. In addition this product has a beautiful rose gold packaging which is big enough of a reason to buy it…I also thought I should try the Giorgio Armani Luminous silk foundation because I had heard that it was very light on the skin and added a nice healthy glow. The lady at the counter nicely applied it on my skin and I realise that it was exactly what I was looking for in a foundation. It has a light buildable coverage and photographs beautifully. I also really like that it comes with a pump because it is more sanitary and you don’t get disgusting foundation fingers which we all hate. Enough with the high end makeup, I was on the hunt for the brand The Balm which you can only find in big superdrugs. I did a couple of them without any success until I finally found it at Westfield. The Balm counter was almost completely out of stock which was a bummer except for The Nude palette. The packaging is absolutely adorable and the price is really good considering the quality of the shadows you get. I was also trying to find a good cheap eyeliner to replace my L’Oreal Super Slim one which I cannot find anywhere…I have been really enjoying my cat eye lately so I was really determined to find a good one. I tried the L’Oreal Super Liner perfect slim. The tip is really good but it lasts about 4 uses where it is really black and after that it dries out and makes your liner a bit faded. I have tried the water trick but it didn’t do anything. I then picked up the Rimmel scandal eyes precision micro eyeliner. I really liked to super tiny tip but again it went super black the first time but then would just fade with time. So I have now been applying my liner with gel liner and go over it with felt tip liner to add precision.
