First month of 2015 just ended so here comes the time for me to write about the products I’ve been loving this month.

For a good foundation you need a good base and by that I mean you need a good skin. AVENE, Soothing Moisture Mask does the trick. You apply this mask just like you would a moisturizer and leave it on overnight, it isn’t overly greasy and your skin will thank you in the morning. Great for an inflight skin care, it creates a barrier from the plane’s A/C that is very drying.

Now let’s talk makeup base. This product revolutionazed my eye shadow. Yes, greasy eye lid girl right there though not anymore with the NARS, Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base. Tried a bunch of eye primers, none worked, except for this little miracle. I’m not kidding when I say I would pay a fortune for this if I had to.

I’m into the whole burgundy, reddish brown eyeshadow kinda thing. LAURA MERCIER, Metallic Crème Eye Colour in Burnished Copper is the perfect colour for green eyes. Since it’s a cream it’s easy and quick to apply. I like to use MAC, Swiss chocolate to blend the Laura Mercier cream product or just to blend any eye shadow. Ultimate smoky look.

Never been into the black crayon thing, I just prefer gel or liquid black liner. But this STILA, Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner in Halfmoon is not too harsh and easy to smoke out on the top lash line. The grey creates some definition but not too much that you can notice you are wearing liner.

For lippies, I have been loving nudes. In particular the MAC, Velvet Teddy Lipstick is the perfect colour. It’s not too nude that you look ill and has that slight brown undertone that I love.

Taming those caterpillars is always important, yes I’m talking about brows. MAC, Pro Longwear Waterproof Brow Set in Bold Brunette is truly budge proof and waterproof (tested and approved by myself). Add a bit of tint and the small brush is easy to use.

Finally, this limited christmas edition (sorry guys) GUERLAIN, Terracotta Sun In The City is just eye candy. Not but seriously it’s a great cheek highlighter and can also be applied on the decollete (or just the whole body).

Till next time xxx

I have greasy kids and keep hearing Nars is the way to go. It’s so small but so expensive! I wish they had a small sample size to try before I spent the money. I always buy the urban decay one but it doesn’t even work so I guess it’s a waste of money!
