I don’t know why but I’ve been obsessed with highlighters this month and tried a lot of them but only one really stood out to me which is Opal by Becca. It is a beautiful champagne highlighter that catches the light perfectly.

The EX1 invisible wear foundation was another favourite this month. I purchased it at Topshop because I had heard quite a lot of good things about it. It is very light on the skin which I love but it is still very buildable. The finish is quite glowly which can cause problems with my oily skin but this one has been wearing really well.

I had a small tester of the Byredo Bal D’Afrique and sprayed it on at the beginning of the year before going to the airport and when I kissed goodbye my family, every single one of them was complimenting me on my perfume asking me what it was. Throughout the flight, I slowly grew to really like it. It is a very sophisticated fresh smell and definitely something quite unique.

Of course there has to be lipsticks included in my favourites, otherwise it wouldn’t be me. Mac Whirl is just my typical dark nude.

I also tried Charlotte Tilbury Bond Girl which is quite a staple in the line because it was always out of stock. Again, it is that beautiful dark nude but more pinkish than whirl and a lot less matte looking.

Kisses,

H
