    24 HOURS IN MALIBU

If you find yourself in Malibu for 24 hours and you are wondering how to pack all that Malibu has to offer in a day, you should keep on reading. During the day: Transport: as in pretty much all of California, there is no public transport so I would suggest renting a car to get around as quick and as inexpensive possible. We rented a convertible Ford Mustang which we found was a very popular car to rent as we bumped into so many of them. It was great to ride along the coastline of Malibu with the top down and less expensive than taking a taxi all the time. Hotel: we checked in at The Surfrider Malibu hotel which is a cute boutique Hotel right on the highway along the coastline which was great as it was easy to get in and out. The hotel only has a few rooms and has the surfer, Malibu style which we loved. They had overnight parking which was not free but not too expensive. In addition, there is a nice rooftop terrace overlooking the ocean. Lunch: fortunately across the road from our hotel was one of the most famous restaurants for lunch in Malibu called Malibu Farm. It is a very cute relaxed restaurant on the pier that does fresh, organic and local food. They have both a restaurant and café. Their aesthetic is really nice and the view of the ocean is beautiful...

Activities in Los Angeles: Walk Melrose avenue: one of LA's most famous streets. Great for shopping, eating and having a stroll around. You can stop by Gracias Madre for lunch on the way (review below)...

I'll admit I have really not been the best at sustainable fashion. Loving clothes means you love changing outfits and therefore buy a lot clothes. High street brands that are very inexpensive are so attractive for rendy items that won't last long. However, it is not particularly great for the planet. I am not saying to give up on fashion and loving clothes, I know I am certainly not going to do that but here are little steps that you can take to reduce your impact with your clothes and be more sustainable. BUYING SECOND HAND Vintage is no longer for hipsters only, it is actually very on trend now. I've been loving buying pre-owned pieces which is good for sustainable fashion. I just came back from LA and had a lot of fun thrifting there as they have so many cool shops. Switzerland is definitely not the best at second hand shops but there are plenty of websites online (list below). You can also check out my post on "Tips for online shopping". It's really fun because...

Hope you enjoy x Date ideas: 1. Picnic: they are romantic and not expensive. Each can bring their food and drinks or prepare everything together. Even better to go there to watch sunset. 2. Movie night: quite a common idea, however, you can always make it more special by doing it at home and making it into a cinema experience. Make some...

From huge lemons to beautiful views, I finally had the chance to go to the Amalfi Coast this summer. It was a place on my bucket list for a while and was worth the trip. We discovered amazing places and restaurants that I have put together in this guide for you to enjoy x Anacapri: the other side of the island. I would rent a scooter for 50€ a day and visit the other side for half a day. Lido del Faro: a lighthouse at the tip of Anacapri with beautiful sunsets. I would recommend going there early evening to have a drink at the little beach shacks there and watch...
